There seems to be a pattern in work nowadays. Morning will alwasy be so busy and when afternoon comes, the whole office will be quietened down. He called me while I was working. For the first time, I actually could not be bothered to talk to him. Just too occupied with work.
Derrick from Swire Shipping threatened to write in a complain about me. He called early in the morning to make some amendment to a reservation. However, as the new dates he require overlaps 22 August, the day where we only have Premier rooms available, I told him that he has to change the room category as well. He did not wish to though. Told him he has to wait till Grace come in before I can make the amendment. Called again at around 10am. Both Jackie and Grace were not around yet. Jackie had gone for the Del-5 training. He wanted to talk to Director of Sales then. I passed the call to Edeline. Before, doing that, he said he will write in a complain.
When Grace came in, I immediately told her about it. Instead of being angry, she actually praised me!!! She said I had did a good job on that and will be more than glad to wait for his complain letter. *Pat on your back girl*
In the morning, April told me a shocking news as well. David, the guy working at Qi Ji, is actually her nieghbour. He has been asking her for my handphone number for quite a while already. Only thing is that she have not been meeting me so she is unable to get it from me. I told her I will consider first and get back to her later. In the end, I gave her my number. Actually, to say that this is shocking is not true. I am somehow not surprised at all. Maybe I could sense it coming already. But why cannot he ask from me himself? Shy perhaps...
During lunch, I was so afraid that I could not finish clearing my emails in time. I had 13 enquries to answer after lunch. To add to my pressure, I had to finish it by 3.25pm as I had to attend the ISO Awareness talk at 3.30pm. To my surprise, I am able to complete my work on time. Went for the talk then. Quite a short one...
Came back home straight away after that. Again, I took a short nap. Woke up and went to the living room to look at girl girl. Only came into my room after dinner. 3 missed calls and 1 message was what I saw on my phone. Immediately called him back. "Where were you jst now???" "Outside the living room watching tv." "What you doing there???" Told me he going to Malaysia at first. But he did not want to tell me the reason for going. Called me again another time. Said his trip will be postponed to tomorrow 4am. He now will just go over to collect his car and then return home. At that time, I actually wished that we could go for our car ride. Another time perhaps dear. He accidentally blurted out that he is going for an interview tomorrow. 9am at Hilton in Kuala Lumpur.
Why it seems like he is always going to Malaysia for interviews? What about Singapore? I have helped him to send so many resumes. None replied to him at all? Or is it because he just do not want to work in Singapore anymore?
